EPUC 2016 SRC GENERAL ELECTIONS AT HO

By OFORI STEPHEN - MnM News |10th June 2016

Provided it comes to an excellent, transparent, free and fair electoral process, trust MNM TEKNOLOGIES LTD. to deliver on their promise. It has once again recorded another successful election story at the recent EPUC 2016 SRC General Elections in Ho. With Friday 10th June being the voting day, preparations were made for the mock voting exercise on Thursday 9th June at 7pm. The exercise was not only successful but also educative to the student populace as far as electoral misconducts and security issues were concerned.

The team arrived at the election grounds by 7:00AM to set up for the elections which was to begin at 9:00AM. The first vote was recorded at about 9:45AM and by 12.30PM a total of 110 students had been recorded.

Students came in one after the other to take part in the voting exercise. It was pretty competitive especially for the portfolios Women’s Commissioner and PUSAG Rep.

Although there were some technical issues that developed about 4PM and delayed the voting exercise, kudos to our team of experts who came up with a rapid solution to curb the situation for all to exercise their franchise. MNM TEKNOLOGIES LTD. deeply regret the mishap and sincerely apologise to all and sundry.

The day came to a close and the elections ended successfully with very surprising turn out of events at the centre. Anxious students gathered at the voting centre to observe the final results as our team leader, Michael Simons, disclosed the much awaited outcome. With a total of 578 votes recorded at this year's EPUC SRC General Elections, the results were as follows:
